The entire "Murderbot" series by Martha Wells is amazing, the writing style, humor and the whole story line is a must-read for sci-fi fans The "Silo" series by Hugh Howey is excellent, I read it after watching the TV series from Amazon, and no regrets. "Recursion" and "Dark Matter" by Blake Crouch is also really great

Can’t believe I’m the first/only one to post these: - Upgrade by Blake Crouch - Biography of the Pixel by Alvy Ray Smith Like Project Hail Mary, Upgrade is the kind of book I really wanted back when I was a michael crichton fan. His last book, Recursion was really my favorite. I love books that secretly teach you a thing or two and celebrate science and engineering. Biography of the Pixel was a fascinating history of computer graphics and fundamental graphics concepts.

I did the same! (Well, I audiobooked it). I thought it was really good too. Though personally I liked Dark Matter and Recursion more.

I didn't read as much as I normally do, mostly due to school, but I really enjoyed "The Midnight Library" and "Recursion" for fiction. I am mostly done with Antifragile, and it's pulling me between political and philosophical sides. Don't know which side I'll land on, or how long I'll stay there. As a side note, I've found "Deep Learning: A Visual Approach" to be very instructive.
