I Am That

I am That by Nisargadatta Maharaj. Recorded discourses with him, in q&a format. This is the most powerful spiritual text I’ve encountered to date. Instantly places me in a state of deep understanding. I open it on a weekly basis.

I am That - transcribed conversations with Nisargadatta Maharaj It’s like speaking with … the absolute? beyond human. Cuts through time and space and brings me to it, instantly, always.

This is the book I came to recommend. It is different from almost anything else I've read in its causing an immediate shift of awareness which is beyond the intellectual / thinking process. It consists of conversations which modify being and a different state of being changes everything, instantaneously. This is my book - I open it almost every day. Not a story to re-read but a state of being to dissolve into.

I am That by Nisargdatta Maharaj. Shifted my perception of who/what I am. Not a book but Marshall Rosenberg's many lectures, audiobooks and workshops on nonviolent communication. I am now able to set boundaries in a peaceful way, and see myself and everyone, no matter what their actions, through eyes of effortless compassion.

I am That -- transcribed talks with Nisargadatta Maharaj Shifted my sense of self in ways I cannot describe. It is logical but not intellectual and transformative in a strange way. Enlightenment is Not What You Think by Wayne Liquorman, a contemporary Advaita teacher. Ishmael by Daniel Queen.

"Freedom from the Known" by J. Krishnamurti. "I Am That" by Nisargadatta Maharaj.
